On Wednesday, June 29th, 2022 between 02:00 - 5:00 UTC, we will perform a scheduled network maintenance on the backbone routers in the Chicago Metro to perform a software upgrade.

During the maintenance, Equinix Metal engineers will divert traffic from core routing devices one at a time so that software can be upgraded. Traffic will be restored following the upgrade. Due to the nature of the work being performed, you may experience brief packet loss and/or added latency while traffic is diverted on the related routers.

Customers with non-redundant Fabric connections will lose connectivity for approximately 30 minutes as routers are isolated and rebooted. Customers with redundant Fabric connections may observe impact to one connection at a time only.
