On Thursday, October 10th, 2024 between 00:00 and 06:00 UTC, we will perform a scheduled network maintenance. During this maintenance engineers will be installing new infrastructure containing larger capacity into the New York core network. All routers in the scope of this maintenance are deployed in a redundant manner. Engineers will gracefully drain traffic from existing routers and return traffic while maintaining redundancy.
As part of this maintenance, our engineers will be inserting new switches into the current topology to facilitate future expansion. While this maintenance is being carried out, customers using ECMP or anycast configurations may experience changes in traffic patterns. We recommend verifying that your traffic is functioning as expected once the maintenance is completed.
No customer impact is expected, although you may experience increased latency or minimal packet loss while route changes and adjustments are made.
