On Sunday, April 11th, 2021 between 09:00 and 15:00 PDT (1600 - 2200 UTC), we will conduct a non-disruptive hardware upgrade of our networking platform in the San Jose, California (SV5) data center to new, higher capacity hardware in support of continued growth in this region.

During the upgrade, Equinix Metal engineers will shift all traffic and network services to alternate, redundant paths before initiating the hardware upgrade. No customer impact is expected, although you may experience increased latency and moments of minimal packet loss during route changes or adjustments.
